In July 2009, sewing enthusiasts from Hooven Sewing Center presented 60 quilts to the wounded veterans at Perry Point, MD.  The quilts were a combined effort of people who wanted to share their talents and patriotism with others.  A variety of  patterns, fabrics and ideas were woven together to create these quilts of care.  We hope the quilts brought comfort, joy and peace to all the recipients. 

With each quilt we presented the following letter -  We would like to thank you for the herioic valor and dedication to preserve freedom.  Your courage, sacrifice, and acts of bravery continue to make America the Land of the Brave and Free.  We hold you dear in our hearts and know that the world is a better place of you.  Our wish is that your days will be filled with good health, happiness, and peace.  May God bless you always.  With Sincere Appreciation, Hooven Sewing Center, White Marsh, Maryland.
